Ubisoft Announces Sales Results and Delays a Few Games

| | Comments (0)
Ubisoft released certain financial details concerning the first half of its fiscal year, a six-month period ended September 30, 2007.
During the half, Ubisoft reported sales of €261 million, 51.8% higher than Ubisoft's sales in the same period the previous year. 75% of Ubisoft's sales during the period came from the newest generation of consoles, compared with 40% in the same period last year.

For the second quarter ended September 30, 2007, Ubisoft reported sales of €127 million, up 25.4% from the same quarter the prior year.

Ubisoft has also decided to delay the release of several games, but is being cagey with the specifics, since not all the delayed games have been formally announced. This is a cue to investors that the company may not perform as well as expected this fiscal year, but doesn't really change expectations much for gamers.
