CEA Decides Against 2007 Gaming Show

In August, the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) announced that it was exploring the possibility of holding a large gaming show following the announcement that the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) would be downsized. Today, the CEA announced that it will not launch a gaming event in 2007. The announcement appears to be a reaction to the Entertainment Software Association's announcement on Friday giving more details on the new incarnation of E3.
