Vivendi Reports Net Income for the First Half of 2006

| | Comments (0)
Vivendi, parent of Vivendi Games with labels such as Sierra and Blizzard, announced certain unaudited financial results concerning its performance for the first half of 2006.
The company reported adjusted net income of €1.378 million, compared to adjusted net income of €1.243 million in the first half of 2005.

Vivendi Games announced EBITA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization) of €62 million on revenues of €296 million. This is more than twice the EBITA from the first half of 2005, but EBITA was likely chosen as a measure just to show "dramatic improvement." Revenues from the same period in the previous year were €238 million.
