Activision Announces First Quarter Loss

Activision announced the results of its fiscal first quarter.
During this latest quarter, Activision reported a net loss of $17.83 million, compared to a net loss of $3.59 million in the same quarter the previous year.

Activision noted that its sales were driven by Over the Hedge and X-Men: The Official Game.

53% of Activision's revenue came from North America. By platform, 38% of revenue came from PlayStation 2 games, followed by 13% from PC games, and 10% each for GameCube, Xbox and GBA titles.
