EA Further Amends New Employee Option Plan

| | Comments (0)
Electronic Arts filed with the SEC some requested amendments to its previously proposed voluntary stock option exchange program.
The program was suggested to find a way to compensate employees who were granted options as part of their compensation that are now so far out of the money (unlikely to be executed) that the options are effectively worthless. The options that will now be eligible for the program are those with an exercise price at least 125% of the average closing price of EA stock at the time the program goes into effect.
