Microsoft Announces System Requirements for Windows Vista

Microsoft revealed the official system requirements for Windows Vista today.
To use the Windows Vista operating system at all, you'll need at least an 800 MHz processor, 512 MB of system memory and a graphics processor capable of handling DirectX 9. The recommended system requirements (officially, the system needed to qualify as "Windows Vista Premium Ready") you'll need a 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of system memory, 128 MB of Graphics Memory, at least a 40 GB hard drive with 15 GB of free space and a DVD ROM.
